Story of Singam Tamil Movie :
A typical masala treat, the story is set on the backdrop of Nallur town in the Tuticorin district. Here lives the family of Duraisingam alias Singam (suriya). He wants to run his family business of provision store and make it a big supermarket. However, Singam's father (radha ravi) has other plans and he dreams of seeing his son as a cop. Singam fulfills his dad's wishes and becomes an SI. He is tough, honest and straightforward. Story takes a turn with the arrival of Mayilvaganan (prakashraj) and his brother Vaikundan (aadhi) from Chennai. A sequence of events makes Mayilvaganan to sign at Nallur PS everyday. This gets him to Singam and what happens from there forms the rest of the story.
